That would be the easy option, right? Why not give up? Everyone sets their new years resolutions and amongst the doctor appointments and school work or child care....it's all forgotten? What's a way to not forget?
I'm almost certain everyone has a cell phone. If you do, set an alarm to remind you to do whatever it is you said you would do. Because God knows, you won't leave anywhere without your cell. If you're lucky enough to own an iPhone 4Gs, you can simply tell Siri to remind you.
If you however do not own a cell phone, tell a friend to remind you or write it on a sticky note and put it all over your house. Eventually, you will be so used to the alarms and sticky notes that you won't need these daily reminders.
Now, for everyone that says "I can't do it". Unless you're in a hospital and dying, you can. I have little sympathy for laziness and self-pity. I'm sorry but I don't think watching television is going to make you lose weight or gain money.
Time is another issue. If you're schedule is so hectic that you don't have the time to do what you wanted...take another look at your life. What do you do that could be subtracted from the equation every now and then? Maybe instead of going to that movie, you could read a book. Maybe instead of going out for ice cream, you could go to the gym? Maybe instead of getting your nails done, you could write in your blog? Why not?
While I understand that everyone has a different schedule and "physical limitations", what I am saying is, find what works best for you. Move things around. Just do WHATEVER you have to do to make it happen.
Not for me, chances are I don't even know you. For yourself. Do it for no body but YOU. I was always told that you can't truely love someone unless you love yourself first. So love yourself enough to do what's best for you and don't let anyone get in your way. Not parents. boyfriends, husbands, or friends. I believe in you and I don't even know who you are. :) GOOD LUCK!
