No Better Time Than Now...

There is no better time than now, the start of 2012, to start my 2nd blog. While I don't agree that people should wait until New Years Day to start their goals, I do believe in having a list of things you want to accomplish by the end of the new year. I have several reasons for writing this blog, one being I love to write and another because it is a great way of beginning my career as a writer. Another reason is so that 365 days from now I can look back at the post from this blog and see if I have truely lived my year the way I wanted. Some of the things I want to accomplish are probably found on a few hundred other new years resolutions but there are some I don't think you will see any other place as well.

MY LIST (in no particular order)

• Welcome a new baby into my little family
• Maintain a 3.8 or higher GPA
• Write at least two novels
• Write 250 blog post by the end of the year
• Pay all bills before their due time
• Attend as many "family fun" activities on the Air Force base as possible 
• Never skip date night with my husband for any reason
• Make a list of things I want to do before I die and finish at least 2 of the things on it
• Reach my bank account goal and maintain it
• Network, Network, Did I say...NETWORK. 
• Stop using the :) in all my writing. 
• Get down to the 125 lbs I was before my son...135 so far. 

While I know that using the smiley face isn't very professional and that readers should be able to understand my moods through my writing...they are just so dang fun to use! So, as unprofessional as this may be.....HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! :) :) :)
